Spatial design revamp for Tetra Pak Jurong's Customer Innovation Centre (CIC) by Green Sproutz Singapore (Tetra Pak's official appointed outreach agency in Singapore). This corner is a tangible showcase of Tetra Pak's commitment to sustainability and serves to highlight how Tetra Pak uses renewable resources, and recycles and upcycles factory and post-consumer waste.

About the space
For this spatial revamp project, Green Sproutz Singapore was tasked to revamp the previous CIC corner so that customers of Tetra Pak who visited Tetra Pak Jurong could see an updated sustainability corner.
The CIC corner initially had some older artefacts of recycled and upcycled products on display but was not clearly curated and appeared a bit cluttered and sparse in some other areas. The wall vinyls also needed a refresh to display the newest information.
space curation
The artist impression below was created to organise the display according to three layers: Renewability, Upcycling, and Recycling (with consideration that the 'Upcycling' layer would be at eye-level so Tetra Pak customers would be able to interact with novel hand-made upcycled crafts and games.
The wall vinyl stickers were designed to display information according to these three themes and also had QR codes leading to updated digital resources (such as educational videos and articles) so that TP customers could easily access these resources for their learning.
sustainability booklet
This informative sustainability booklet served to give customers a tactile experience of the raw materials used to make the six layers of a Tetra Pak beverage carton: Polyethylene, Aluminium and Paperboard.
upcycled card game
This upcycled memory card game was developed as another interactive element at the corner; the card backings and packaging are made using Tetra Pak factory waste and post-cosumer cartons respectfully.
It features the main different types of Tetra Pak packaging such as Tetra Brik® and Tetra Prisma®, helping customers or potential customers be more aware of the types of packaging Tetra Pak offers.
upcycled products display
Upcycled products developed by Green Sproutz Singapore made from the packaging of different Tetra Pak customers such as Yeos, Marigold and Pokka were displayed. Such functional products included weaved baskets, coasters and a coin purse.
Each upcycled product also had 4R frames used to hold product labels printed on paper recycled from beverage cartons.
Final space revamp
After some final adjustments, the corner was finally transformed into a vibrant and interactive educational space for visitors old and new! :)
